“Книги Діти Майбутнє”: У єдності дихання з країною і часом - “Books Kids Future”: In unity of breath with the country and time
Давно підзабуте поняття “фотохронікер” відроджується на наших очах у особі жінки, фотографа, викладачки англійської, Олени Жеронкіної, яка невимушено продовжує у своїй творчості лінію документально-хронікальних фотографій таких київських майстрів, як Олександр Глядєлов, Артем Рябов.
Олена налаштована на ритми сучасного моменту як чітко вивірений механізм часу. Вона давно відома у колах українських митців - художників, музикантів, письменників - як носій правдивої візуальної інформації. Олена Жеронкіна не привносить, здавалося б, у фоторепортажі власних емоцій і вражень, вона відсторонено фіксує ключові позиції різноманіття творчого життя своїх персоналій. За результатом
такої роботи, емоції випрацьовує сам глядач, який дивиться на фоторепортажі автора.
Сьогодні на вернісажі “Книги Діти Майбутнє” Олена Жеронкіна показує глядачам таїнство знайомства дитини із книгою.
Кілька років поспіль Олена має акредитацію у деяких знакових фестивалях та книжкових ярмарках.
Соціально актуальна тема, яку підіймає авторка фотографій, розгортає чудову, сповнену одухотвореного дійства оповідь про те, як дитина відкриває для себе світ друкованої книги. На обличчях дітей буквально читаємо сюжети - ось здивування, захват, задумлива допитливість, а також тотожні вирази облич дорослих, що приводять дітей на книжковий ярмарок.
Олена Жеронкіна вміє бути непомітною під час роботи, щоб не сполохати чудову мить неповторної першої зустрічі людини з новою книгою, наче, засвідчує акт священнодійства. А діти мають унікальну здібність - доростати. Дитина із фото тепер молодь, цікаво, якою вона стала, які уподобання має.
Коли споглядаєш результати творчого процесу, завжди цікавить етимологія: яким чином, за якого досвіду автору вдалось втілити дану ідею. Так і з Оленою Жеронкіною - цікаво відслідкувати, на які основи спирається фотохудожник, яку філософію сповідує. Адже, така вдумлива, дослідницька цікавість до людини і сприйняття її як частини Всесвіту, має свій фундамент. І такий фундамент складається,
на нашу думку, з таланту, великого проценту працелюбності й безкрайньої любові до світу. Людина і музика, людина і книга - Олена Жеронкіна персоніфікує природу, розкриває у квітці, дереві, гілці чи пташині особистісні якості.
Фотохудожниця уникає штучних, постановочних композицій, адже її цікавить, перш за все, зупинка, фіксація миті, коли людина знаходиться у русі, динамічному стані.
Тонке відчуття гармонії кольору у просторі надає можливість Олені фіксувати дійсність, наче, на межі між реальним світом і світом тонких матерій.
У її стилі відчувається подих “нової хвилі” французького кіно у далекі 1960-ті.
Її персоналії завжди мають значимість і усвідомлення свого призначення, принаймні, Олена саме так їх побачила.
Драматургія внутрішнього світу фотохудожниці тяжіє до ідеалістичних світів красивої складної музики, стильного кіно, східної філософії - і всі ці елементи вона змогла розгледіти у нашому повсякденному житті, зафіксувати і випустити у світ.

The long-forgotten concept of “photo chronicler” is being revived before our eyes in the person of a woman, photographer, English teacher, Olena Zheronkina, who effortlessly continues in her work the line of documentary and chronicle photographs of such Kyiv masters as Oleksandr Glyadelov and Artem Ryabov.
Olena is tuned to the rhythms of the modern moment as a clearly adjusted mechanism of time. She has long been known in the circles of Ukrainian artists - painters, musicians, writers - as a carrier of truthful visual information. Olena Zheronkina does not bring, it would seem, her own emotions and impressions into the photo reportage - she detachedly captures key positions of the creative life diversity
of her personalities. As a result of such work, the emotions are developed by the viewer himself, who looks at the author's photo reports.
Today, at the opening of the exhibition titled “Books Kids Future”, Olena Zheronkina shows the audience the mystery of a child's acquaintance with a book.
For several years in a row, Olena has been accredited at some iconic festivals and book fairs.
The socially relevant topic raised by the author of the photographs unfolds a wonderful, full of spiritual action story about how a child discovers the world of a printed book. We literally read stories on the faces of children - surprise, delight, thoughtful curiosity, as well as identical expressions on the faces of adults who bring children to the book fair.
Olena Zheronkina knows how to be invisible while working so as not to scare away the wonderful moment of a person's unique first meeting with a new book, as if testifying to the act of a sacred act, while children have a unique ability - to grow up. The child in the photo is now a young person, it is interesting to see what he or she has become, what their preferences are.
When you contemplate the creative process results, you are always interested in etymology - how, with what experience the author managed to implement this idea. With Olena Zheronkina - it is interesting to trace what bases the photo artist relies on, what philosophy she professes. After all, such a thoughtful, research-based interest in man and his perception as part of the Universe has its own base.
Such a base consists, in our opinion, of talent, a large percentage of hard work and boundless love for the world. Man and music, man and book - Olena Zheronkina personifies nature, reveals personal qualities in a flower, tree, branch or bird.
The photo artist avoids artificial, staged compositions, because she is interested, first of all, in stopping, fixing the moment when a person is in motion, in a dynamic state.
A subtle sense of colour harmony in space allows Olena to capture reality, as if on the border between the real world and the world of subtle matter.
Her style feels the breath of the “new wave” of French cinema in the distant 1960s.
Her characters always have significance and awareness of their purpose, at least that’s how Olena saw them.
The dramaturgy of the photographer’s inner world gravitates towards the idealistic worlds of beautiful, complex music, stylish cinema and Oriental philosophy - and she is able to see all these elements in our everyday life, capture them, and release them into the world.
